When it came time for director Yoann Lemoine to choose the stylist for his new project for Revel Resorts of course Yoann was quickly drawn to the many talents of stylist Douglas VanLaningham!  The commercial for Revel Resorts pegged as "A Destination For Uncommon Recreation" is nothing but pure energy as the music drives the spot and elevates the style that Douglas provides for a resort exploding with luxury on a different level.  Make your reservations for May!

Jane's Addiction release psychedelic visuals for "Underground", their single from their newest album release "The Great Escape".  The band hired the talents of stylist Douglas VanLaningham to set the mood for the dark smoky setting where the partygoers play poker and Ouija boards among other seedy things. The video takes place in a Los Angeles brothel built in the 1920's.  Look out for Siamese Gargoyles, seances, card games, characters making love to and murdered in the backrooms while the band plays on. 

Stylist Douglas VanLaningham definitely delivered the mood as far as what the band is all about......the video immerses itself in that off-kilter vibe, kinky imagery and clothes, and "lust for life" spirit that is embedded in Jane's Addiction music.  The video was directed by the amazing Robert Hales.

Stylist Douglas VanLaningham styled both Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley for the just released shot for the new promo for "The Vampire Diaries".  Make sure and keep an eye out for the rest of the promo shots soon to be released which are stunning.  The promo shots were shot by famed photographer Frank Ockenfels 111.
