Carl Dean Hopgood is a British Artist and Production Designer who was born in Wales, of Greek/Welsh heritage. Carl was educated at the famous Goldsmiths College in London where he received a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art as well as a Masters Degree from St Martins College. He has exhibited his Artwork throughout Europe and America and is collected by many celebrities and is featured in several important private Art collections worldwide. Carl is famous for his Projected Sculptures called Digital Taxidermy.
His Production design experience ranges from Theatre, TV, Print and Commercials. He has been featured in magazines including British Vogue, Italian Vogue, British GQ and Italian, Spanish and English Elle. He has worked with photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Donald Mcphearson, Ellen Von Unwerth. He is a member of The Art Directors Guild of LA and a certiﬁed Art Director. Hopgood worked in London for 20 years before relocating to Los Angeles 2 years ago where he currently resides.
